Tweeting what might be interpreted as "wrong stuff" can land you in trouble at university and with the Police

Rutgers University professor, Kevin Allred was arrested after campus police tipped of NYPD that he might be a threat. He had to have his mental state assessed after criticising Donald Trump on Twitter. HERE

The content could, I think, be interpreted as indicating he might do something dangerous to others.
Here is what he tweeted. 

if i see any Trump bumper stickers on the road today, my brakes will go out and i'll run you off the road.

NYPD just came to my house bc Rutgers Police told them i'm a threat based on political statements i've made on campus and on twitter.
